National Night Out 2026
When: Tuesday August 4th, 2026 at 6:00 PM to dusk
Where: College Gardens Park Pavilion

Free Pizza and Carmen’s Italian Ice
Optional neighborhood Potluck (suggested items below):
• LAST NAME beginning with A-N: side dish or entree
• LAST NAME beginning with O-Z: dessert
• Plates, utensils, napkins, and cups are also needed
• Families are encouraged to bring their own water bottles, along with lawn chairs/blankets for comfort.

Featured events and groups include:
• Visits from City of Rockville Police and Fire Departments
• Games for children — flamingo stand, penny pick-up and more
• Activities for youth — relays, cornhole
• Robotics demonstrations by Rockville Science Center
• College Gardens Garden Club
• Manna Food Drive (donations of non-perishable foods welcome!)
• City of Rockville Environment & Sustainability Outreach

Since 1970 the College Gardens Civic Association (CGCA) has been an active part of the College Gardens neighborhood here in Rockville, MD.

Over the years we have represented the needs and interests of our residents to the city, to Montgomery Community College, and to the businesses and neighborhoods that surround us. We are proud to say we have helped to make College Gardens a friendly, active, welcoming, and safe neighborhood for all.
